May 2018 releases

  • Sin

It's May! Some stuff is getting released! You know the drill by now, we've got a selection of trailers for films and games to remind you what you can watch and play this month. Huzzah!

Deadpool 2

Ryan Reynolds returns to follow up the surprisingly successful first film, now with more characters but still the same goofy humour. One to watch out for!

Mary And The Witch's Flower

The first feature release from Studio Ponoc, comprised of ex- Studio Ghibli members and looking like it could do well in living up to that pedigree. A young girl gains magical powers and is whisked off to a school of magic.

Solo: A Star Wars Story

Will our resident Star Wars nerds manage to watch this without the communal nerd rage (if it's bad) or nerdgasm (if it's good) destroying the very foundations of Hubris Mosaic? Well we will find out soon, i guess...

Detroit: Become Human

The latest game from Heavy Rain creators Quantic Dream, set in the far future and following the tales of three androids.

Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia

A smaller, more focused game, set in good old Blighty? Total War as a series is generally great quality so hopefully this will be a treat.

Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night/Persona 5: Dancing Star Night

Join your favourite Person characters as they dance the night and the demons away, in this rhythm spin-off of the awesome JRPG series.

Dark Souls Remastered

The first of this month's re-releases, a scrubbed up Dark Souls hits- do we really need this so soon? It's a great game nonetheless, just watch out for that damnable Capra Demon.

Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection

A superb collection for Street Fighter fans, with basically every main game from the original Street Fighter right up to Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike, which weirdly enough is 12 games, not 3.

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze

This month's WiiU/Switch update, which is in fact an absolutely sublime platformer which is well worth your time if you missed it first time around.

What are you looking forward to this month? Anything we missed? Let us know in the comments!
